The history of the Brno racing track begins in 1930, when it hosted the first Grand Prix of Czechoslovakia race, under the auspices of President Tomas Garrigue Masaryk. It was already that year that the world‘s top racers participated in the contest, and in the gallery of Masaryk Circuit‘s winners we can find names like von Morgen, Chiron, Stuck, Rosemeyer and Caracciola. For more than eighty years the circiut has hosted a plethora of GPs and gradually were also seen many changes. In 1987 a new modern track, which meets the most stringent current safety criteria, was opened.

From 4th to 6th July 2014 a vintage cars race called Brno Grand Prix Revival will refer to the rich history of the circuit. On the track will appear Grand Prix cars, sports cars, formula, touring cars and motorcycles. The event will be attended by legendary racers who competed at the Brno circuit in the past. The cars of target race participants and branded clubs will be exposed to the audience in the depot.
